WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE

When I first decided to learn how to develop a website, my son, Jim, agreed to be my instructor. The first order of business was to pick a name and have it registered. We decided to call it MyTrixie.com.

Trixie is my Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie) and the mascot of my website. In August of 2008, Bob, Jim, Rob, and I went on a Trixie photo shoot at Harlan County Dam. The picture in the heading for my website was taken by Jim. Trixie was a most willing model for the over 100 pictures taken.

The Paws

Jim designed the paws a few years ago for the Forum, and I adopted them for the first Trixie website. My heart was set on having the paws for my links for this second My Trixie.com and Jim accommodated my request.

Why Did I Want A Website

Through the years, I have accumulated information, video, and pictures about our family which I wanted to organize and share with whomever would be interested. The dilemma was how to efficiently share all of the information without writing a book and having it published. Along came the internet, accessible for everyone with a computer. What better place to accomplish the task in this modern day than a website posted on the World Wide Web.
