Jasmine
Rob has had several cats. When he and Corky were first married they got Jasmine a Persian Grey Smoke. That was over 20 years ago. In all probability, she resides in Pet Heaven.
Mittens
Jim got Mittens when she was just a cute, little kitten. She grew to be a beautiful cat.
When Jim and Cathy also got a dog, Anna, and later rescued another dog, Riley, Mittens was forced to accept them as part of the family. The two dogs' domain was the downstairs; Mittens claimed the upstairs
Like many cats, she allowed the humans to share her domain. When I visited, she was an authentic guard cat. She really didn't appreciate me coming upstairs to the guest bedroom and would let me know I was not welcome. Since I wouldn't turn around and leave, she would accept the fact that I was going to be there for awhile.
When Mittens got too sick for the Vet to help her, Jim and Cathy bid Mittens a tearful farewell.
