Leonard Robertus
Bob's brother Leonard was born on January 12, 1933. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1951. Leonard served his country during the Korean War. He wrote home from Korea and told Bob to join the reserves immediately. He didn't want his little brother to be drafted and sent to the "hell" he was experiencing. Bob was forever grateful for this piece of advice. Leonard returned home safe. He met and married Carolyn Reed in August of 1957. They reside in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Leonard worked for Goodyear the majority of their married life. He is now retired.
Carolyn and Leonard have four boys, Doug, Danny, Dennis, and Donny.

- Doug has one daughter Lindsey born in 1985
- Danny and his wife Karen (Robotham) Robertus have three children, Sara Jo born in 1984, Corey born in 1987, and Austin born in 1993
- Dennis and his wife Kim (Lewis) have three children, Stephanie (from Dennis' first partner) born in 1988; Kara Lynn born in 2000 and Chance born in 2002. Kim died on February 6, 2011.
- Don and his wife Trisha have two children, Ashley (from Trisha's previous marriage) and Lydia born in 1997.

Marilyn Robertus Hahn
Marilyn was born in 1939. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1956. Marilyn married Sheldon Hahn in 1959.
Shelly and Marilyn had two boys, David and Stephen. Tragically, Shelly was killed on the railroad when David and Stephen were quite young.
David married Laura Huggelman on November 6, 1987.
