Great Grandmother Anna Olzon's Brothers and Sisters
The following children were all born in Moheda Parish Sweden:
Maria Christina Nelson was born September 23, 1854. She was married to Charles York. Charles was a widower with several children who was reportedly "quite well off financially." Mary died May 9, 1925, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and is buried in the Rosehill Cemetery in Idaho.
Mathilda Nelson was born November 22, 1856. She married Fred Busing who was born in 1845. Fred died in 1903 and is buried in the Powell Cemetery, Powell, Nebraska. Mathilda died in 1906 and is buried in Powell Cemetery, Powell, Nebraska.
Ingrid Lisa (Lizzie) Nelson was born September 3, 1859. She married the brother of Alfred Olzon. Frederick was born January 4, 1850, at Mariestad Sweden. Frederick died June 13, 1914, and is buried in Bay City, Texas, Lizzie died June 10, 1897 in Helvey, Nebraska, and is buried in the Powell Cemetery, Powell, Nebraska.
An infant daughter was born April 1, 1862, and died July 10, 1862, in Moheda Parish.
My great grandmother Anna Sara Nelson was the fifth child of Inga and Jacob Nelson
Nils Johan (John) Nelson was born September 5, 1866. He married Nettie Stewart.
Emma Sophia Nelson was born April 3, 1870, in Moheda Parish and died in 1972 in Nebraska.
In 1870, Jacob and Inga Nelson immigrated to America, settling in Helvey, Nebraska. Two more children were born in Helvey.
Ida Amelia Nelson was born October 2, 1872. She married John Robertson, born December 26, 1869. Ida died November 24, 1954, in Gower, Missouri. John died October 3, 1937. She is buried in the Gower Cemetery.
Carl William (Charlie) Nelson was born January 19, 1878. He married Bertha Arvilla Porter on March 9,1904. Bertha was born August 10, 1885 in Shunk, Pennsylvania. Carl died March 11, 1969, in Blackfoot, Idaho Bertha died March 29, 1962, in Rigby, Idaho. Both are buried in Grove City Cemetery, Blackfoot, Idaho.
